Versailles Visions

Louis XIV vision transformed his father's hunting lodge in the outskirt of Paris into a lavish palace and in what would become the symbol of the French monarchy and absolute power.

A project of this scale needed a town to match its grandeur. The village was absorbed by an elegant town built around an avenue leading from Paris to the Palace wider and longer than would become the Champ Elysées.

Versailles Visions is an intimate journey that takes you through this overlooked town before discovering the famous Palace with its garden and the domain where the Trianon Palaces lay and that bears the mark of Marie-Antoinette.
